Learn how to edit production dialogue and voiceover using the Fairlight page in DaVinci Resolve 20.

In Lesson 2 of The Complete Fairlight Audio Course, we’ll work with multichannel recordings, organize dialogue into a checkerboard edit, compare multiple voiceover takes, and combine the best parts into one seamless performance.

IN THIS LESSON:

✓ Syncing separately recorded audio using waveforms

✓ Preparing the Fairlight timeline for dialogue editing

✓ Building a composite performance with audio track layers

✓ Trimming, aligning, and tightening dialogue timing

✓ Creating a patchwork edit from multiple voices
