Balance Audio Levels & Pan Tracks in Fairlight | DaVinci Resolve 21 (Lesson 5)

Learn how to balance dialogue, sound effects, and music. Then pan audio to follow the action onscreen using the Fairlight page in DaVinci Resolve 20.

In Lesson 5 of The Complete Fairlight Audio Course, we’ll use meters, clip gain, keyframes, normalization, and Dialogue Leveler to create consistent audio levels. Then we’ll place sounds in the panoramic sound field and explore manual and automatic pan tracking.

Increase MICROPHONE GAIN Signal (volume) for Recording in DaVinci Resolve 17 using PATH SETTINGS

When recording audio directly into DaVinci Resolve, you may need to INCREASE the MICROPHONE GAIN SIGNAL (input levels) in order to get enough input volume/gain so you've got great audio to start with in your videos. The PATH SETTINGS can help you out! You you make voiceovers in DaVinci Resolve or other recordings, you want to know about this feature!
