In Lesson 1 of The Complete Fairlight Audio Course, we’ll create a sci-fi podcast intro while learning the essential tools and workflow you need to begin editing audio in Fairlight.

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to:

• Create a new Fairlight project and timeline

• Import and preview audio files

• Create, name, color, reorder, show, and hide tracks

• Add, trim, arrange, and fine-tune audio clips

• Work with markers and duration markers

• Add and edit music

• Balance clip volume levels

• Make volume changes within a clip

• Pan audio from the viewer

This is the first video in an 11-lesson Fairlight course. I’ll release one new lesson each week, then combine everything into one complete long-form course.
