Learn how to FIX and REPAIR bad audio in DaVinci Resolve Fairlight! In Lesson 6 of my complete Fairlight training series, we'll work through real-world audio repair techniques using Fairlight's built-in processing, effects, and AI tools.

We'll start by identifying problems in our audio and then use tools like gating, De-Hummer, Noise Reduction, Track FX, and other Fairlight FX to clean up and enhance the sound.

You'll also learn how to remove clicks at the sample level and use Elastic Wave controls to retime and repair audio.

In this lesson, you'll learn how to:

► Find and identify audio problems

► Gate low-level background noise

► Remove hum with De-Hummer

► Reduce unwanted noise

► Repair dialogue with Fairlight FX

► Use Track FX and AI audio tools

► Work with processor-intensive plug-ins

► Remove clicks at the sample level

► Retime and repair audio with Elastic Wave

► Improve and enhance problematic audio

This series follows the official Blackmagic Design Fairlight Audio Guide, and I'll walk you through the exercises while explaining the tools and techniques along the way.

Whether you're a video editor trying to clean up dialogue or you want to learn professional audio post-production inside DaVinci Resolve, this lesson will give you practical tools for repairing audio without leaving Fairlight.
